Cube House
The Cube House is designed to be built as compactly and efficiently as possible. The design goals included; first to reproduce a generic form which would permit variation, adaptability and improvement. That is, to design and build a basic prototype that can be modified. Second, to combine the efficiency and economy inherent in prefabricated construction with the creative improvisation from all the individuals participating in the building process and finally, to design a house predicated upon energy conservation and to apply and demonstrate a variety
of energy conserving techniques in subsequent variations of this house as well as other houses.
