Eco Center
It seems in order to take the right step into the next millennium we need to learn to become responsible planetary citizens. In my estimation, this means building eco-centers in various places. Eco-centers are places where people can be educated to be ecological and see appropriate technologies being demonstrated - where they can experience what it means to live in harmony with nature. Our proposal for Nacul eco-center is a semi-circular building facing south. It is a perfect passive solar form not unlike Pueblo Bonito. The roofs are flat and green and, in time, the structure will disappear among the vegetation. Its a pretty good planter.
