TIA Architects provides services for non-profits involved in doing socially relevant work. Services include site analysis, construction cost estimates, preliminary design, models, drawings and graphics for fundraising, etc. Architecture students and interns under the supervision of staff members work on the projects on a volunteer basis. When projects reach the constructions drawing phase, TIA receives compensation for this aspect of their involvement, although our fees in these cases are substantially reduced.

Previous Pro-Bono Projects include Nuestras Raices, a project in which an existing building in Holyoke, MA has been restored and expanded to become "Centro Agricolo" for the local Puerto Rican community. It includes an office restaurant, canning room and resource center. A greenhouse and potting room, which defines a south-facing plaza has been added onto the building. The project has received funding from private sources as well as from the Holyoke Historic Commission. Other work has been done for the Sunray Meditation Society in Bristol, VT, Nueva Esperanza, in Holyoke, MA, and Cuvilly in Newburyport, MA.
